Does FormWatch work with my website?
Yes. If your web form sends an email when someone submits it, FormWatch can monitor it. This includes WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, Google Forms, Wufoo, JotForms, and custom-built websites.
What if my platform doesn't support BCC or multiple recipients?
That's okay. You can forward form emails from your inbox (like Gmail) to your FormWatch monitoring email. FormWatch works anywhere email works.
Is there a limit to how many alerts I can receive?
To avoid spamming you, we only send one alert every 24 hours. But there are no limits beyond that. We'll keep alerting you every 24 hours until your form starts working again, or you pause monitoring.
Do you read or store my form submissions?
No. We never read, store, or analyze the contents of your emails. We only track whether an email arrived and when.
How quickly will I be alerted if something breaks?
You choose how long your form is allowed to be inactive before an alert is sent (for example, 1 day, 3 days, or 5 days).
FormWatch checks your form automatically, and if it hasn't received any emails past your threshold, you’ll be alerted. Free plans run checks every few hours, while paid plans check more frequently so you find out sooner when something goes wrong.
What if my form uses Cloudflare Bot Protection, Google reCAPTCHA, or hCAPTCHA?
No problem! These tools are important to keep your website secure, and we strongly encourage their use! Other solutions often try "mimicking" human users, triggering CAPTCHAs and causing errors.
FormWatch only monitors what actually matters: email delivery. Please continue using hCaptcha, Google reCAPTCHA, or Cloudflare, FormWatch will continue to work just fine.
What if I want to monitor a form that isn't publicly accessible?
FormWatch just works. Whether it's public forms or internal, private, or password-protected forms.
It doesn't matter where your form lives. As long as your system can send a BCC or a copy of the notification to your unique FormWatch email address, we can monitor it.
My form plugin/platform shows an error when it isn't working. Why do I need FormWatch?
Some issues cause forms to fail silently. Other times, forms show errors to users - but unless a customer goes out of their way to inform you, you still won’t know. FormWatch covers both cases.
